However, the DS with semi-automatic transmission has a 6-pin electrical connector, whilst the manual version has an 8-pin connector. The two spare pins are for the starter motor! So you can simply retrofit a push-button switch and thus build an ignition switch for the manual version. It takes a bit of work, but it works!
