Basic information about interference suppression: Up to the year of construction 1979, the ignition cables had a low resistance. The same applied to the spark plug. Suppression chokes were installed for the suppression. Today, this can be done immediately by combining high-resistance spark plugs with low-resistance ignition cables.

Spark plug NGK BR7HS for Citroen 2CV6 up to the year of construction 1979 The BR7HS is a suppressed

spark plug (high ohmic resistance). Basic information on interference suppression: Up to the year of construction 1979, the ignition cables had a low resistance. As did the spark plug. Suppression chokes were installed for electrical interference suppression. This can be avoided today by combining high-resistance spark plugs with low-resistance ignition cables.

Spark plug thread M14 repair kit (for repairing defective spark plug threads). Hobby quality. For

all M14 spark plugs. The repair kit comes with an HSS thread cutter (drive wrench size 17 mm) and 4 thread inserts. Length of thread inserts: 9.7 mm + 11.0 mm + 13.0 mm + 19.1 mm.

of manufacture 1974 (for export countries at that time like Germany). The lock already locks when the ignition key is turned to the neutral position (zero position), but is still in the lock. Starter lock completely, for Citroen 2CV starting from year of construction 1974. Inclusive Key +

U-shaped bracket for the securement at the steering column. This ignition lock is the new version, installed from 1974 to 1990. The lock only locks when the ignition key is removed. Connection, in direction of travel seen: above malve (pink), on the left black or blue, on the right red.

Ignition coil Citroen 2CV, 12 Volt, reproduction. This optically original ignition coil has an

epoxy (plastic) filling as resistor instead of an oil filling (as resistor between the primary and secondary coil). Some swear by it (and sell it as a performance ignition coil), others prefer the original ignition coil (our 14307, was installed 7 million times in new 2CVs) or our 14395 (this is a real high-performance ignition coil). We ourselves drive all our 2CV's with the 14395 coil!

Spark Indicator. This non-contact spark tester will test for the presence of power in spark plugs

coils and distributors. Simply place the grooved end over the spark plug wire with the engine running and the high intensy bulb will flash indicating spark. Note: Depending upon screen of the ignition cables, it can be possible, that you see the flashing by daylight, very bad!
