Used part deposit, what’s that?

AlteilpfandUsed part deposit, what’s that?

A lot of spare parts are no longer completely new fabricated. So special companies take back used parts to disassemble them. This single parts are going to be cleaned and lacquered , all  flexible parts and pistons going to be renewed. After assemble them again, the parts are as good as new again.
However, we don’t  have so much used parts as we need and that is why we work with “used part deposit”.
For example: A distributor sends us a renewed brake calliper . Excepting the base price, we have to pay 50€uro used part deposit for this part.
If we send back a suitable brake calliper, the distributor repays the 50€uro.
We are also using this method : If you buy a spare part which is afflicted with used part deposit, you have to pay the selling price and the deposit. By sending back the replaced old part, you’ll get back the deposit (just if the old part is qualified for an overhauling).
