Handbrake connecting rod. Connection from the handbrake lever in the body to the lever on the
chassis. Suitable for Citroen 2CV6. This rod has the original dimensions (192mm) as it was fitted until the end of production in 1990.
Handbrake connecting rod. Connection from the handbrake lever in the body to the lever on the
chassis. Suitable for Citroen 2CV6. This rod is 10mm shorter (182mm instead of 192mm). There are pre-silencers (e.g. Walker) which have pipes with a larger diameter and bending radius. This allows the handbrake lever to rest against the exhaust (noise). The shorter connecting rod ensures that the distance to the front silencer is maintained! But be careful: The two handbrake cables must then be readjusted!
