The body was built completely from new parts. The quality of the body is good, however small remachining is necessary. So some spotwelds must be regrind and the transition to the windshield frame should be tinned. The raw sheet metals (before the processing and shaping) are galvanized. New: Attached to the car body, there are some pictures attesting the correct fit since the body has been mounted on a trial basis with original sheet metal components. Made in Europe.

Chassis Citroen 2CV6 + 2CV4, Made in EU. This chassis is a very good reproduction, which

corresponds in all points to the original chassis of the last years of production. Naturally TÜV approved. It is manufactured in Belgium from electrolytically galvanised sheet metal. The chassis is then coated black in an immersion bath (cataphoresis). This provides much better rust protection than the original chassis. However, the weak points of the original chassis are of course still present (triple overlapping sheet metal etc.). Our own chassis with the number 15000 has a completely different design (without overlaps) and is hot-dip galvanised (i.e. subsequently dipped in hot liquid zinc). This chassis from Belgium was built from one-piece internal reinforcements. Cheap reproductions are built from composite sheet metal! Of course the chassis is TÜV approved. But please note point 3 in the certificate supplied! (You must first go to the registration office and apply for the modification and the allocation of the chassis number). So, if you want a chassis that looks like the original one, we can only really recommend this chassis! The chassis is suitable for vehicles with disc brakes and drum brakes! If you don't want it to look like the original, we recommend our own chassis with the number 15000 (Made in Germany, delivered over 6800 times)

Foam rubber seal, for Citroen 2CV. Installed between the chassis and the body. Approx. 10mm thick

The seals are completely punched out! Just as they were originally installed (but also with their disadvantages). If it can't be completely original, we would install our grease tape (article 20004). Because grease tape is guaranteed not to store water!
